One shot at California high school

Terrible. It will never stop, although, I wish it would. Least he/she is only wounded

The Left is hoping he got the gun from one of the following:

-His "right-wing, doomsday paranoid, cultist" parents
-From a gun show, without a background check
-A gift from the President of the NRA

We need to eliminate the Second Amendment! For the chilrun!

Tibet and North Korea are gun free, well for the citizens anyway.

But, schools are gun-free zones....

So, how did THAT happen, there are laws in place, ya know.

So, do you have a thoughtful comment or do you believe being glib is an appropriate response to what happened?
Let's see: Schools are gun free zones - a law to keep guns out of schools.

Yet, there was a gun in a school. Should we have another law that says, no we're serious...no guns are allowed in schools?

What else is there?

It is a valid question. Where did a 16 year old get a gun?

What makes you think he didn't own it himself? I owned a rifle at 12.
Maybe he did own it himself. If he did, he shouldn't have as apparently he has some anger and/or mental issues.

But that didn't answer my question.

May I emphasize the word mental. Therein lies the big confusing issue. This is a huge problem. It is not a simple gun control matter. It is much bigger than that. The solution, if there is one, includes numerous facets. Mental Illness, Gun Control measures, and budgetary priorities are just a few of them.

I walked into my granddaughters middle school last year to talk to her class, and I wasn't even questioned. I am sure things have changed now.

Maybe this shooter wanted to be a celebrity in Liberal circles, meet Holder, have Obama talk about him?
