One Of The Main Reasons People Didn't Listen To Frank Zappa...

Oh my we are so fucked. Janet can track us down now. wink wink nudge nudge say no more...

This is a great video of a young Steve Vai getting schooled by Frank Zappa...

What I loved best about Frank was his absolute love of music no matter who made it. You have to sit there and watch Zubin bow to Frank and both of them do Louie louie to really get it. 200 motels. Louie louie.

It was a moment I will remember for forever. I hope I carried this for the rest of my rock life.

solo comes on at 2:12....awesome fretboard's-eye view of Frank's blazing fingers.......wow!

this is horrible camera work.....they dont show Frank soloing but they have a close up of that horrible thing called Yoko....i guess she called it singing....how John allowed her anywhere near a mike i will never know.....i can imagine Frank was wondering the same thing

Oh you should have seen her "live" . I was back stage with little richard when she did her first paper bag routine. OMG he lost it. We both almost peed our pants we were jumping up and down so much. I don't have a clue what drugs John was doing but there he was. Lovingly supporting her. It's something else when you have Buxton and ricky both going "that's fucked up" .

yea i never understood John.....as good as he was composing i would have thought he would have said......"Sweety.....how about you just sit over there and watch"....i wonder has anyone ever asked him why he lets her ruin his songs?.....i mean love is one thing.....but this is your Music and people are going to listen to it.....or try........:eusa_eh:

I'm glad to see someone posted "Titties and Beer" on the first page. Dr. Demento used to play that uncensored version "back in the day".

My good friend back in H.S. Kenny loved Zappa and this was his favorite tune:

Am I the only one who thought Moon Unit was a total hottie?

I read an interview with Steve Vai in some guitar rag and he said "Performing with Frank meant doing the most difficult guitar arrangements every night and Frank demanded that you did them perfectly!".

I was lucky enough to see Steve live twice!

I'd kill to see him live. I've seen some of the best at Massey Hall. The acoustics are to die for, you are one blessed soul. Mine at massey was Fripp. or then jean luc with frank....lol I've had a good life.
