One of Life's Lessons.

He came home Tuesday afternoon. He's still hugging his little red heart pillow cause his chest hurts when he coughs, he has like a 12 inch incision right down his sternum. The doctors say he will recover and will be back riding his bike in a few months. :eusa_angel:

:clap2:

That's the other side of the coin for living a health life versus an unhealthy life:

Lower peri and post operative risk and a quick recovery.

Too many people worry and try to avoid the inevitable by doing everything "right". There's no inherrent problem with that, but it's the tendency to worry and stress that does as much damage as anything. Obsessing about good health is probably as bad for you as saying "what the hell" and overindulging. Balance is everything, and learning how to love yourself and your life is the key to happiness. If you're truly happy, and you realize and understand that mortality is a fact of life, no matter how much one may try to avoid it, much has been accomplished in the span of a human life.

Life's a crap shoot. Play the odds all you want. It still only takes one loss to put you out of the game and that loss is guaranteed. Enjoy your time while you have it and don't tell me how to spend mine.
