Yup. 10-part Masterpiece Theater style.

Tripods is another. Brits filmed a low budget mini series. A big budget movie would be great.

Like the Hobbit, a ‘kids’ book.

'Dune', the epic novel, is a literary masterpiece.

But it's too sweeping, too complex, to make I to a film that can be absorbed in two hours (or four).

I liked all the film's, even the David Lynch version.

She was good casting. Von Sydow and Prochnow too, though Lynch did nothing with Max.

The lack of originality in Hollywood is disgusting. Either dig out a 40 year old TV guide or do a superhero movie that requires no thought to get your ideas.
