actually they should swear on the Constitution , even in court. The separation of Church and State has become blurred.

Roy Moore’s campaign spokesman says Muslims shouldn’t be in US Congress because they have to swear on the Bible. He responds with silence, mouth agape, when @jaketapper informs him that’s not the case http://cnn.it/2nViCGP

I saw that interview. I was astounded that the man actually believed that because he and others, presumably Moore included if Moore's spokesman accurately represented Moore's rationale, had sworn their oaths on Christian Bibles that the Christian Bible was therefore the document upon which one must swear one's oath. It's no surprise that Moore was removed from the court. Hell, the man doesn't even deserve the honorary prefix "judge."

There is nothing that democrats could swear on that would keep them honest

Why do you think the puritans came here to get rid of the Church of England ruling over them. Freedom of Religion equates to Separation of Church and State.

and 2 and 2 equal 5, using that reasoning.

Still not seeing the part of the Constitution advocating Separation of Church and State.

It does not exist. It's an invention by liberals for the sole purpose further pushing immorality and sickness.

1st Amendment prevents a State religion..."Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

Separation of Church and State was one line in a letter from a sitting president to the Danbury Baptists, long after the First Amendment was written.

a few pantywaists got upset that others had freedom of religion, and took it to court.

Court decided government should not be involved with religion.

That, however, has not prevented a daily prayer being said in both the House and the Senate for almost 2 centuries.

But, keep claiming the First states something that IS NOT THERE
