In America they are stealing for profit and pleasure, in Canada, it seems it is out of necessity. The poor are sick of pasta and dry noodles. Canned soup isn't exactly a nutritious dinner. People need meat and they are going to great lengths to get what the can't afford (while the kakistocracy thrives). One Canadian grocer is already putting metal security tags on steaks to prevent theft — will others follow?
Is it Trump's fault? Biden's fault?
I don't worry about any of this. We buy a whole cow and have it processed. Pay cash. Done.
