On this anniversary

Let us not forget that we were duped as a nation into endless, pointless wars as a direct result of the fear and anger following this attack.
The greatest CIA disinformation campaign in the congress took place in 2002-2003, when CIA director George Tenet and his deputy, John McLaughlin, consistently lied about Iraqi training for al Qaeda members on chemical and biological weapons as well as the existence of mobile labs to manufacture such weapons. . .

:cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

How exactly is anything here "crazy"?
I mean really....We're disagreeing about facts now?

You are so retarded it bis beyond pathetic. Key Word here after Terrorism is Jihad. You bend over backwards in denial blaming us, and I say to You Fuck You. There is nothing You can do short of Conversion and Submission that would Appease the Threat. Rationalize all You Want, on this Anniversary of A Hostile Unjustified Act, Shit For Brains. Carry Your Battle Flag White Field With White on White Stripes, into battle. Along with Your armor of Knee Pads and KY Jelly. Hint, They Kill Gays, but You can pull off a Sex Change and they are okay with that.

The Ideology of People Owning People (Slavery), Arbitrary Rights and Permissions (Unjust Courts), and Total Control Over Your Life should go over well with Your Fucked Up Logic.

If only Jimmy Carter would have had a spine. Incompetent Pricks.

By DEAN E. MURPHY
Listen to the survivors who escaped down the staircases of the doomed World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, and expect to be overwhelmed by the aching appreciation for the faces on these pages.

For thousands of horrified office workers who fled the terrorist attacks, the most remarkable sight during their descent was the wave of determined firefighters advancing toward the burning sky.

"One fireman stopped to take a breath, and we looked each other in the eye," said Louis G. Lesce, who was on his way down from the 86th floor of 1 World Trade Center, the first tower hit. "He was going to a place where I was damn well trying to get out of. I looked at him thinking, 'What are you doing this for?' He looked at me like he knew very well. 'This is my job.'"

In all, 343 firefighters were reported missing or were identified among the dead. The number of casualties was staggering. Entire companies were lost. The previous biggest loss of life for the Fire Department was in 1966, when 12 were killed in a fire on East 23rd Street.

But the numbers tell only a fraction of the story. The faces and names say far more. A father and son. A chaplain. A commander. A rookie. Strangers to most of those they passed on Sept. 11, but heroes to them all.

"They were perspiring profusely, exhausted," said David Frank, a salesman who escaped from the 78th floor of 1 World Trade Center. "And they had to go all the way to the 90's - straight into hell. This was not lost on the crowd. We all broke out into applause at one point. It was a wonderful moment."

No. But that "mom stuff" goes both ways.
You can't be outraged by Pelosi and not by Dubya.
haha!

It only took you 11 posts to invoke Booooooosh!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

C'mon. It was pertinent to the conversation.
And when you cause that much trouble to the country, you're bound to get mentioned.

you all act like bush went solo on this....and the entire house and senate voted against it.....by they way the entire house and senate an the new president are ramping up the war in afganistan....new boss same as the olde boss....

and yes tennant and clarke waged the "slam dunk" campaign....

Christ on a tortilla!
Look, Rambo...The world is a big dangerous place and if you think we could ever scare the world into respecting through military force, than you're a tool.
After 8 years of fighting "the terrorists"...100,000's dead...trillions squandered....America's great history, tarnished...
And are we safer?
You ACTUALLY think we will be safe from a handful of angry extremists by killing muslims in a dubious war/s in the middle east?

Christ on a Tortilla? That is a first.

Rambo, no, not likely.

8 Years of Fighting Terrorists and Jihad is nothing. Method, Tactics, Common Sense, Reason, may be far from Command, though that does not Invalidate in any way the Constitutional Obligation of Our Military, to Protect The Constitution, The Government, and The People From Threat. That it is the Obligation to Protect form All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic. You are deceived about handfuls of Terrorist's. The Jihad, on that end will by won when The World converts to Islam, and Submits to Their Rule. Don't Include Me in Your Surrender.

One Thing Bush got Right, is that He Knew that Islam has to change from within. Not Convert, but change, by Not Placing Itself above Equal Justice. Considering The Expansion, and the lack of insight on your side of the Aisle, they are well along the way of Conquering Continents, in the name of Totalitarian Rule, where death is the consequence of Dissent. By Splitting Our focus and diverting it, You have served their cause. Part of Me would wish that I could Celebrate Obama's Victory, Like they did in Kenya, but My Conscience won't allow me. You think to appease these unwashed Predators, and find fault with the Victims. I don't care if the Battle against Tyranny goes 800 Years, I care when You wave the White Flag of Surrender and Doom. We spent Trillions avoiding Collateral Damage, when We could have wiped out Millions of people for pennies on the dollar. I support the Care we took to spare innocents. The Opposition uses any means to justify it's end. That may pass over your head, but it changes nothing.

.

And you conveniently blew by my only actual question to give your long patriotic and ridiculous diatribe on "us vs them".
That question again was "Are we any safer from jihadist threats today than in 2001"?
After all the death and destruction and money and scandal....ask yourself...was it really worth it?
Not that we could just let these scum continue to plot against America. We must be vigilant and determined and harsh with this enemy. This is an absolute.
But this sad display of global arrogance and thoughtless force that is the Iraq/Afghanistan wars is just not an intelligent or realistic way to win this thing.
Oh, and I'm not a democrat so I don't know what "my side of the aisle" is.

We are more Prepared, so that is a Yes. Firm Yes. No Expectations, no Surprises.

The Iraq/Afghanistan Strategy was a part of the Equation. Read Tommy Franks Book "American Soldier". Your side of the Aisle Undermined it, and it fell apart. Ever ask yourself what the State Department was doing for 3 Years after the Invasion. We had a melt down on the International Stage that You brought about. It was effective, It was very effective, and empowered the opposition. Welcome to the Show. Please be Seated. The next Act is about to begin. Taking Control of Government was more important to some than the Health and Welfare of This Nation. Nationalation and Socialization is more important to the same than Our Health and Welfare. Open Your Eyes.

Ok. More prepared, sure.
But what the hell does that have to do with these wars??
And as for all that drivel about "my side" undermining security and whatever nonsense stream of consciousness you were writing ...you're crazy. Plain and simple.:cuckoo:

If there had been more drunk passengers on those planes the hijackers would have never made it to their kill zones.

Sobriety kills.
