I can't answer that because each company is different. Are they all making a profit? How much of a profit?

Are they paying their labor enough? If their labor is making more than everyone else in the industry, pay the CEO whatever you want.

But if labor is only making $10 hr and the CEO is making $10 million a year, and an extra $10 million in profits shows up, you should not give it all to the executives. The labor should get raises too.

See, what you don't understand is what has been going on in corporate America the last 8 or so years. CEO's fucking with the companies financials in order to manipulate the stocks so they get a pay out, rather than the CEO focusing on the long term goals of the company, not just the short term goals.

And what you don't understand because you've never been there, is how the CEO's and executives today don't give a fuck about the company, just their bonus'.

And what else you don't realize is that corporations cut labor wages and told us they did it because they needed to be competitive. Then we saw that the CEO's pay went up 400 times???

The current system is broken. It doesn't work. American workers need to make more money.

In the Bush era, it was ok that the rich got richer and the poor got pooer.

Now that Bush is gone, you want to continue defending that approach? Trickle down?

That piece of legislation would encompasses all employees not just CEOs and executives.

It isn't just CEO's getting paid out of control. What about the VP's right under them? And the 3rd in line under them? Etc? They are all getting bonus'.

So if they are getting government bailout money, they shouldn't be making more than the president. Or more than industry standard. Lets say $1 million max salary per year.
