OMB: Top 20% pay 95% of taxes, middle class 'single digits'

I agree with the Socialist Regressives that the rich aren't paying their fair share. They are paying way too much and it's time to lower the tax rates.

OMB: Top 20% pay 95% of taxes, middle class 'single digits'
While half of all wage earners in america drag home less than $30K per year in an economic system predicated upon mass consumption. Yes, let us redistribute more societal wealth to the aristocracy and subsidize even further the ruling class. What could go wrong.

I've never been employed by somebody making $30k a year.
Then worship the aristocracy and hope they take care of you so you don't have to. It's human sacrifice in societal terms. And you are not free if this is what you have to do to survive in an economic system. At all.
I'm not sure i understand that. hmmmmm again, what is it you want? do you want them to hand their cash to you? what is it exactly that bugs you about someone who earned more than you?

BTW, I bet he doesn't answer.
Your society will not last under this last half century trend of economic rerigging to benefit the aristocracy alone. Watch.
dude, so what is it you want? please define it. you have our attention.

Ouch! - that's gonna shatter some painful delusions. ;)

That's what delusions are for, let the people see what this tax plan does for society, let that one die as well.

No, delusions are for denying the discomfort of reality. You had your chance - let's revisit this when we acquire another 10 Trillion in debt, wages stay stagnant and economic growth hovers around 1.5%. Until then...
We're growing the debt love, even as we speak. We've been on this path for a half century now, Don will not alter it, neither would Hilary have, your system cannot "fix" this. Empire is expensive, your version of an economy requires constant growth to sustain itself. Just a matter of time before your next revolving crash, the people's socialist bailing out of the aristocracy, and eventually the world will move away frm the petro dollar. It will get interesting.

so again, what is it you would do? come on mouth you been yelling loudly, what's your answer? I think you're caught.

I'm middle class, and I can tell you, I want job producers to have more money to expand. I want more companies to come back to The US.
Because more competition for labor means higher wages, and more investment here at home.

The Left has always gotten it wrong. They want to punish productivity and reward sloth. No country can survive that kind of thinking for extended periods of time.

The money we spent rewarding those with little to no Initiative is $21 Trillion (The War on Poverty), or pretty close to EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT AS OUR NATIONAL DEBT!

That is NO COINCIDENCE!

Yes some people need help, but help up, not an extended hand out.

I find this interesting. Where will the world move after the dollar? Of course eventually the dollar falls...all reserve currencies do...but I see no good alternatives. Not even any contenders.
Will be interesting.

I'm not yelling at all, you just have this emotional reaction when things are questioned and you come with the typical corporate power shtick type response, "well if you can't tell me how to fix this right now then you shouldn't be talking at all".

Your system is broken and unable to respond to the needs and will of the people, primarilly because there is no longer any voice of the people in either the political or economic system. Furthermore the citizenry sat on its arse and participated in its own demise so they, as they have been taught, respond with scapegoating in an effort to inoculate themselves from culpability.

So the people turn to the aristocracy to do for them what they will not do for themselves by offering up their fellow citizens as fuel for the system.

American style capitalism is predation, it now takes military occupation of the planet to keep the economy growing, once it can no longer grow to infinity, you will gain more of an understanding. So I say, let it go the way it is, it will eat itself.

There is an alternative, but it got JFK assassinated by The Federal Reserve for employing it.

Go back to Treasury Notes (Constitutional Currency backed by precious metals)

Federal Reserve Notes are Debt Instruments, Promissory Notes, and they are a type of Economic Enslavement, where we pay a ransom to use THEIR CURRENCY.

Treasury Notes are the way to go. Tell the Fed to take a hike and renegotiate the National Debt with them or threaten to dissolve it entirely.

We have the authority to do that YESTERDAY!

Yup, and prolly fairly ugly, we have already used the military to take down nations and operatives to see that murders are carried out when certain actors threatened to move away from the petro dollar.

Going back to honest money would mean no more foodstamps for Wal-Mart and Kroger. No more ethanol subsidies for archer-Daniels.

Unfurtunately when we've done that the aristocracy has not kept its end of the bargain, have they. Even when the people bailed them out of their own shyte with the socialism these "capitalists" begged for.

Socialism, for Wall Street and the donor/"job creator" class is fine, we're all about that in america.

Government should not be giving any Industry Subsidies.

If you make our tax laws fair, NO ONE NEEDS Subsidies.
If you make Government Accountable, we do not need DEFICITS and NATIONAL DEBT
And if you make people accountable for their own success and failures, you do not need huge and economy crushing social safety nets.

The aristocracy will never allow it.

No matter who pays the majority of taxes in reality, you will never convince that poor person that they don't pay taxes. They are convinced, that single mother on welfare that never worked a day in her life is convinced that she pays more taxes than anyone else and is being punished by never getting a tax cut.

No one in america gets away without paying taxes but those who can hire attorneys and lobbyists.

Requires constant growth?...yes, it does. Jobs and investment in growth. And our (not yours?) system is the only one that can fix it. Who else has better? Russia? China? The UK? It's true that nothing lasts forever and when we do collapse, the vacuum will be filled. By what?...to say the results will be interesting is an understatement.

I grant we've been careless with our Republic - we got fat, happy and intellectually lazy. But I wouldn't root against us just yet.

Years ago Bush pushed through a set of tax cuts. Democrats objected that tax cuts aren’t fair because people who don’t pay taxes wouldn’t get a tax cut. I was young then. I first laughed myself silly. Then I realized there are actually living beings who found that argument persuasive. And I have not considered democrats as human beings since then.

I don’t think it’s fine. But give the government the power to seize income and redistribute it for the poor in schange for votes and that is where it always ends up...in the hands of the ruling elites.
When dollar hegemony ends the welfare class will starve in the streets...three generations of single mothers at a time.

No one asked you to, just keep transferring more societal wealth to the top and hope.
