O'Malley should be applauded for railing against the DNC's plans for only 4 debates

The DNC is trying to protect Hillary. Why are you all so enamored with a candidate that needs so much protection? Most Hillary 2016 supporters care more about having a 1st female president than they care about Hillary being able to have a happy and fun life as a grandmother in her golden years. She is a notably flawed candidate. She is a damaged candidate, and if Biden of all people, is gaining so much enthusiasm for a 2016 run, and at the same time a socialist is capturing the attention and support of voting demographics that gave Obama the needed support for his primary victory over Hillary in 08, why are you and the DNC so willing to hedge your bets on Hillary?

This is cheap and dirty politics. Be careful what you wish for. If having the first female president is more important to you than the right person at the right time, the first female president could turn out to be a 1-termer or have an administration looked on about as fondly Bush's years in the office.


I hate partisan hate, but this protection for Hillary is disgusting and needs to be discussed.

You people really over do this "liberals only want a female president" meme. It has no basis in reality. Sure that's what feminists care about the most, but just because Hillary is a woman it doesn't mean that is meant to be a credential as president in the minds of democrats. You just like to believe this kind of PC attitude because it makes it easier for you to have more disdain for the leftwing.

I personally want Sanders as president. Hillary will likely be the nominee, however. I will vote for her, not because she is a woman, but because the idea of having a republican president is terrifying.

From 20 DNC debates in 07/08 to only 6 and if a DNC candidate appears at a debate outside of the 6, they will be banned from further debate.

I can see her on the debate stage now telling her opponents: “Well, let me answer one of your questions because I think that’s what you are entitled to,”
