The man everyone who wants to limit free speech loves for his fire in a theater quote. Not surprisingly, he also supported many other progressive ideals including forced sterilization (Buck v Bell), thought that states should be able to ban the teaching of foreign languages (Meyer v Nebraska), thought that zoning based on skin color was a good idea (Buchanen v Warley), believed that rights came from the government, not from nature, and believed law should be immoral. Every time they quote him they show their true nature.
