This is sort-of true. The goal of the Democrat party is to get as many people as possible dependent on Government, knowing that dependent people will vote for the party that gives them the most goodies. It is no secret that for the past several decades, Democrat immigration policy has promoted the immigration of masses of immigrants from shit-hole countries like Mexico (but by no means ONLY Mexico) knowing that a disproportionate number of them will be dependent on government in a whole host of ways.

What's the difference between now and in the early 1900's?

It's all about IQ. The average immigrant from Western Europe (Ireland, Germany, Poland, Italy) came with an IQ of 100 or better. They saw in America the opportunity to work, to start new businesses, get their children educated, and to make a new life. They were successful, despite some nativists trying to stand in their way. Within two generations, they were fully integrated and assimilated. It's all about IQ.

These immigrants from Mexico and Central America have IQ's in the 85 range, on average. They are not middle-class Mexicans, who could come here and be productive; they are the ignorant campesinos, willing to work (bless them for that), but bringing nothing else with them. They will be dependent for generations.

They will be voting Democrat. Reliably. For generations. And NEVER FORGET, the "11 million" number is a total fiction, based on a gross under-estimation from more than a decade ago. It doesn't count anyone who has come in the past decade, or any children born here. The real number is closer to 30 million. So when you talk about amnesty for the "800,000" dreamers, YOU are a dreamer and a fool.
