I wish somebody as funny as Red Skelton would have a tv show these days that had some comedy to it that didn't insult your intelligence. Good comedy does not follow any political line, could care less about saving the whales, makes no mention of homosexuals, and isn't merely somebody standing up saying the "f word" in every other breath. Really good comedy could be watched by the entire family without some youngster having to ask, "What's he talking about?" Good comedy is not merely insults aimed at a particular group of people, and by all means is something you enjoy because it's funny - not merely trendy to watch.

The Rockford Files. Couple of years ago I bought the whole series on DVD. The 90s movies aren't out on DVD yet, to my knowledge but when they do come out, I will get them.

The show was always very well written and acted.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show was one of the best written, best cast shows on television.

The Patty Duke Show, McHale's Navy and of course:

And the most hilarious of all, Monty Python's Flying Circus:

I have a huge poster of Cleese doing one of the silly walks. Makes me

Here's one I'd love to see.

TV as film noir.

Not only were the shows amusing, but this program has one of the best theme songs ever.

It's been covered by more bands than any TWV theme I can think of. Here's the Blue Brothers version of it.

Couldn't find Emerson Lake and Palmers rendition of it, damn it!

So many to choose from.

I'd love to see Barney Miller & WKRP in Cincinatti again.

One of the best ever.

I loved Moonlighting, LA Law, Cheers, Night Court, these were shows I would stay home to watch.
