Ok so please explain to me this?

A better question is why does the left always claim they do the economy better when it's easy to point to FDR, Carter, LBJ and BO as examples that they don't?

I just PROVED to you with those stats that FDR, LBJ, and Carter were all better than every Republican. And you don't have any idea how Obama is gonna effect the economy so stop acting like your the nostrafuckingdamus of economic policy

See, its crap like that right there that just proves my point about some of you fascists

All you proved is as the years pass each successive President spent more. And more importantly since PRESIDENTS do not actually decide how much will be spent normally , that is a function of Congress, all you REALLY proved is that the Dem controlled Congress from 1952 to 1996 dramatically increased spending. And guess what? They are back in power and have KICK STARTED the new cycle of spending well beyond our means.

I'm new to this site....but I'll just jump right in. You just proved what exactly? No idea of "how Obama is gonna effect the economy"? Well, maybe not. But this gives us a pretty good vision....

But Obama's presidency, not yet four months old, has put the government on track for a $1.8 trillion shortfall.

That's almost 13 percent of the nation's gross domestic product - a level not seen since 1945. By contrast, the 2008 deficit - for the budget year that ended last September - was a then-record $454.8 billion.

Lay off the Kool Aid.

The Miami Herald is a leftwing rag. I worked there. I left journalism because of it. Try getting an objective source and I will post it for you.

Obama has us on course to put us further in debt than all the Presidents that preceeded him combined.

BUT that is GOOD, according to the Liberals and Obamabots. Spending under Bush bad... tripling spending under Obama, GOOD. At least according to Jillian and her fellow leftside dumb asses.

I realize The Herald is a leftwing rag. It's a terrible excuse for a newspaper. But that's my point exactly. It came from a very liberal source. Furthermore, what they posted was not THEIR view on Obama. It is a fact that he is on pace to put government at that level of a shortfall. A level not seen since 1945.

If you don't know, then you obviously arent paying attention so why the heck should we listen to anything you say?

I don't hate Obama. I simply think it's insane to complain about overspending, which is a major problem, then turn around and propose triple the amount. More government never solves anything. It also really starts pissing people off.

The problem sir is that given the fact that presidents who do not have like minded congresses can't have any major impact on the economy. And the Fact is that since 1932 the Democrats have controlled both houses of congress all but ten years out of the last 77. In terms of domestic economics the Congress holds all the cards. All of Reagan's budgets were DOA except a few items in the first. Neither Eisenhower, Nixon nor Ford were Fiscal conservatives in fact Nixon bragged about increasing social spending. Nor was either Bush. There is a reason that Newt Gingrich refered to the Bob Dole wing of the Republican party as the tax collectors for the Great Society.
