I don't know why it's difficult to understand that government doesn't create jobs. Heck, government doesn't create anything but bueaucracy and inefficiency. But it does, slow, retard, and destroy economies, rights, and lives.

If you honestly think passing a bill will create jobs, you are incredibly naive and have no perception of reality. I presume you also believe that Congress can repeal the law of gravity if they chose to do so.

One might ask them what the hell they had been doing to create a business friendly environment for job creation??

They did pass that porkulus bill. Loads of pork but not to many "shovel ready jobs." Not to much assistance for job creation period.

They also passed the "historic" HC bill. Nothing business friendly there either.

The Reps control the House. Thats it. They have an uphill battle to get anything they pass through the Senate and by OL'BO's veto pen.

Of course they could always climb on their unicorn, gallop across the country, wave a magic wand and all will be well.

I certainly won't hold my breath.

When Obama didn't enter the presidency with solutions to all of our problems, did you post something like this? No, you probably defended him by saying something like "it took Bush 8 years to break it, it'll take time to fix it." Well, here we are, 4 years into Democrat control of congress and 2 years into Obama's administration. What the hell have they done to increase employment - not including billions to labor unions to protect government jobs? Remember the stimulus was sold to us as a way to ensure unemployment under 8%? The gop controls the House ONLY. The dims control Congress and the WH. Thus since they still have the most power, they should be doing something, and hopefully this time it will work instead of make things worse.

However

The House has sent in many bills that would help the economy, and buy helping the economy, fix unemployment.
The Dim controlled Congress has blocked and ridiculed every attempt.

Seriously, your morans want to cut $6B from the budget, that's a single day. To say that's weak is a vast understatement. The rips want to cut $60B+, still not a lot, but the dims call it "Draconian".

So call your dims up and tell them the debt to big, the econmy is fucked and thier ideas sucked.

But don't worry, in just under 2 years, assuming the dims haven't totaly fucked us, conservatives, with actual conservative ideas and values, will fix what is wrong.

Some simple math for you, and a little history.

The economy and jobs were doing good in 2006, then the dems took congress, and everything shit canned. in 2008 you had the trifecta, and you made things worse. In 2010 the reps got the House.

dem controll = 2
rep controll = 1

2 is larger than 1

So why haven't the dims created jobs?

answer, government can't, not w/o growing and making things worse. The only thing it can do is make it so biz wants to hire. The dims have made it clear; 5 years of them running things and they have only made it worse.

As the day goes on, state capitalism in China sounds quite good (jobs on the increase along with economic growth, state owned corporations), especially if the US government gets more restrictive on individual freedom than it already is. Government only creates jobs for bureaucrats or specialists, not the average joe, only businesses can do that.

The Dems control the Senate and the WH. The Reps control the House.

Looks like the Dems have major control to me. They don't have to pass anything that the House sends them. If the do the Prez can veto. Looks to me like the Dems still have most of the power.

The Govt doesn't create jobs but it can create a friendly business environment to assist in job creation.
