Well, if Democrats think it's okay for cities and even states to refuse to obey federal immigration law, how about if some cities and states refuse to obey federal abortion law and start protecting unborn babies from elective abortion? If it's okay for cities and states to protect illegal immigrants from federal immigration agents, should it not be okay for cities and states to protect babies in the womb from elective abortion? Elective abortion is abortion done solely for the convenience of the mother, not for reasons of rape, incest, or endangerment.

I personally think we should ignore California law and all show up there carrying guns!

You already have that, dumb shit. Some flyover states are down to just one clinic, therefore most of the state is sanctuary cities for fetuses.

Odd: You sound sad that some states don't make it easier for women to kill their own babies. Hey, should the decision to own a slave be between the potential slaveholder, his conscience, and his family? And should the government "stay out of such intimate, personal decisions"?

There were approximately 893,000 abortions in America in 2016. So apparently we need quite a few more sanctuary cities and states for unborn children.

We need sanctuary in this fucked up country for protection against the oppressive gun laws.

We really need sanctuary from the excessive taxation.

I agree it would be nice if we had areas where children were granted sanctuary from being murdered on demand for the sake of convenience.

Mind you, we're talking about protection from elective abortion, which is abortion that is done solely for the convenience of the mother and/or the father. We're talking about cases where there has been no rape or incest, where there is no endangerment (where birthing the baby could harm or kill the mother), and where there is no severe or fatal deformity. Elective abortion accounts for about 95% of all abortions in the U.S.

Huh. I thought it would be higher than that.

Technically, the entire USA is a sanctuary state for the unborn. As soon as they're popped out, they get to stay forever.
