If Bush ended up getting blamed for a natural disaster like Katrina then using Democrat logic... Obama and the Democrats should certainly be blamed for the, MAN MADE oil spill and the hardship it has created.

1) they didn't properly oversee the exploratory oil drilling

2) they didn't prepare for the potential of such a disaster

3) their response was and is totally inadequate

Radio talk show host and former Reagan cabinet advisor Mark Levin has slammed President Obama’s bizarre announcement that he will be sending SWAT teams to deal with the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, alleging that the response is part of a plan to grease the skids for government takeover and nationalization of the oil industry.

In a move that has shocked and dumbfounded political observers in equal measure, Obama said yesterday the “Department of Interior has announced that they will be sending SWAT teams to the Gulf to inspect all platforms and rigs.”

He recently approved allowing more offshore drilling (probably some pay off to somebody), but before it could start BLAMMO!!!!! Big oil spill to give him the pretext to stop all drilling.

A week after an environmental disaster, our president sends in SWAT!!! Holy Mother of God.........this should be some awesome material for the late night shows!!! I'm going to have to research this, but I would not be surprised in the least if this disaster could be traced back to the same Republican "deregulation" that affected the mining industry and the economy.

No one blamed Katrina on Bush. According to conservatives, the "fault" for Katrina were the gays who wanted a "parade".

It was the response that was blamed on Bush. That and the tens of thousands of "toxic" trailers that made tens of thousands of Americans sick.
