Ohio.... is... Lost to Democrats

We are close enough to November 6th that I have quit paying attention.

Either way, the GOP stops Obama....

Either way....the country is still a mess and someone will eventually have to work on cleaning it up.

The polling doesn't even make sense.

They have to still be going with Democrat Over-sampling to come up with those "figures."

Election day is going to be an unhappy surprise for lots of liberal Democratics.

Good. :D

what makes you so sure of that?

Ohio is a coal state

Ummm...no.

There's not much coal mining in Ohio these days. Did you know that First Energy's Sammis Plant is going into lower production? Their coal-fired electricity from there isn't needed.

Helluva lotta gas wells going in, though. In blue AND red counties. Seems that natural gas is the next big thing. Evidently eastern Ohio's loaded with it.

Lots of farming in the state too. Corn, potatoes, apples, dairy, and beef, mainly.

But the state's known mainly for manufacturing, everything from pottery to clothes hangers to orange traffic cones to textiles to auto parts. And vehicles.

I recommend Democrats gathering together, having a group hug, then reading this and having a good sniveling session... together

Ohio.... 2010 election results

The defeat of Gov. Ted Strickland by John Kasich, a Republican, was one of the most painful outcomes of the election for Democrats and President Obama, who campaigned repeatedly in Ohio, as did Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and former President Bill Clinton.

The ouster of 5 of the 10 Democrats serving in Ohio’s 18-member Congressional delegation also caused Democrats plenty of heartburn.

But a string of other local Republican victories in the state could hurt Democrats for years to come.

Republicans defeated Democrats in all major races for statewide office, putting them in control of the once-a-decade redrawing of Ohio’s legislative and Congressional districts, scheduled to begin next year.

The five member board that draws Ohio’s district boundaries — with the clout to gerrymander them to favor the party in power — includes the governor, secretary of state, auditor, and a legislator from each party. Following Tuesday’s vote, four of the officeholders wielding that powerful pen will be Republicans.

You mean the people who threw away the data to hide the truth about global warming.
Glad you cleared that one up.

Guy, it was in the high 70's last week in Chicago...

Forget about the "Data", what you can see with your own eyes should be convincing enough.

And were just about ready to get Snow in October there is a cold front moving east dumb ass.

You are? It was in the 70's here last week...

Oh, hey, make sure you ignore those melting glaciers and that the north pole is now passable by sea...
