OH, NO! Not That!!!

bwaaa haaa haaa !!!! Thats almost 1/3 of his voting base !!!!!!good by in 2013 obama!!!!

It doesn't mean that, because the question is if there is no primary opponent, how many of those 27% will still vote for Obama in the general election? I would guess most of them will.

Immie
if he looses 10% of the votes he carried in 2008 he is finished!!and you know conservatives are going to turn out the vote in 2012 in historical #'s !!!and Obama is loosing moderate dems and independent votes faster than you can count!!!FACE IT THE LIBBS HAVE LOST!!! and with the socialist totalitarian agenda they pushed on Americans .....the damage they've done to their party has crippled them in the public arena for generations!!

I am not one to make predictions, although, I did predict yesterday that Bear12feet would be banned and I was right on that.

In my humble opinion, it is way too early to predict the President's electoral falter. Too many things can happen between now and then. I'd say if the economy gets worse he's in big trouble, but then who knows that Democrats won't turn out in droves as well?

I, for one, will not shed a tear if he is beaten next year even though I don't care for any of the Republicans that are in the running now. I'm fairly certain we will only be exchanging Bush II for Bush III.

Sorry, that is a terribly gloomy outlook.

Immie

LOL! You people are terrified of Obama.

Instead of obsessing about him, why not find a credible Republican candidate?

Oh, right, there aren't any.
No, we are not terrified of obamaturd, we just know how big of an idiot he is.

1. That is the best avi you've had in weeks!

2. The local community college has courses in reading comprehension...

a. The point of the OP is not that I am 'terrified of Obama' but rather that I am
terrified that you Lefties won't let him run and take the thrashing he so richly
deserves.

3. Remember the old days when you assured me that he was 'a shoe-in'?
Those were the days, huh?

No, I don't remember that. The only reason he won was because of bat-shit crazy Palin.

And so far, the Republicans have only put up slightly less bat shit crazy candidates.

Hmmmmm.....

I sense a weakening of your enthrallment....down by about 27%.

BTW, let me assure you that you wrote exactly that: a 'shoe-in.'
Glad to see that you're not repeating same.
I'd like to see where I did, PC.

I wanted Hillary to be president. Up until Palin was put on the ticket I was going to vote for her through write in. In the end I had to save the country by voting against Palin.

You're welcome.

I'm guessing that most of that disgruntlement is from the left wing of the Democratic Party.

If any of you think they'll end up voting for Rick Perry or Mitt Romney, you're likely to be disappointed.

I think your right NY.

No left winger is going to vote for a Rep.

They will vote third party or stay home.

Either way I think Barry is in big trouble. The economy probably isn't going to be any better by Nov of 2012 and the economy is what its gonna be all about.

I think you worded that wrong. Am I right?

Did you mean? No left winger is going to vote for a Rep.

And since I basically said that earlier in post #40, why are you giving him the credit? Sheeesh!!

They will just stay home and not vote. It is the Independents that will cause Obama the most problems. They will find someone to vote for.

Sorry Immie. Your right it should read No left winger IS going to vote for a Rep.

Didn't read every post.

Your Sheesh is noted. LOL

so? let me know when its 51%.
how many want a more progressive leader? how many will vote foe the gop selection?
the fact is you are trying to make shit into gold, meanwhile all you have is shit.

1. "...let me know when its 51%."
Of course, you'd be first on the notification list....if
it were a list based on inverse importance.

a. I can understand why one of your persuasion would pretend
that the 27% is of no importance.

2. "how many want a more progressive leader? how many will vote foe (sic) the gop selection?"
How many will simply stay home?

3. "... fact is you are trying to make..."

a new poll by cnn and orc international finds that 27 percent of democrats would like to see their party nominate a candidate other than barack obama for president in 2012.

"in response to the question, "do you think the democratic party should renominate barack obama as the party's candidate for president in 2012, or do you think the democratic party should nominate a different candidate for president in 2012?" -- 72 percent said they wanted to see obama renominated. But 27 percent, slightly more than one in every four, said they wanted to see democrats nominate a different candidate. One percent had no opinion.

The poll was taken august 24-25. In a survey taken in early august, 28 percent of democrats said they wanted a different candidate. Polls taken in july and before showed obama in a stronger position, with no more than 22 percent saying they preferred a different candidate. The current poll is based on interviews with 463 democrats and has a margin of error of 4.5 percent.

The new poll is another indication of democratic unhappiness with the president,..."

One in four Democrats wants to dump Obama | Campaign 2012

this is the worst news for those of us who want to run against this empty suit...no, this chalk outline!

Could the dems actually pull a franklin pierce, and not nominate this guy???

And...run a real candidate who might ......(gasp!) ....win???

We might have to run someone other than casey anthony or abdelbaset mohmed ali al-megrahi!

The horror.....the horror......

The definition of "most" is the critical part of the equation.

Obama's constant desire to compromise will be his undoing.

Shreddy...your title is ensured!

1. Obama: "I won."
"When I first read about the comment at Politico, it didn’t sound like Obama; it sounded more like “I’m the Decider” …

President Obama listened to Republican gripes about his stimulus package during a meeting with congressional leaders Friday morning — but he also left no doubt about who’s in charge of these negotiations. “I won,” Obama noted matter-of-factly, according to sources familiar with the conversation.

My reaction was very similar to James Joyner‘s:

[Obama] was elected president, not king — or even prime minister."

2. Shreddy:
"Obama's constant desire to compromise..."

Now, to a normal person, one with the ability to judge reality based on facts and experience, that "I won!" attitude hardly sounds like one who has a " constant desire to compromise"....

But...that's why you're the one and only Shredddy: 'not a shred of intelligence.'
