I somewhat agree with andaronjim that Obama should be remembered for getting gay marriage and transgender identity to be recognized publicly and nationally.

As for his legacy of health care reform, it should be established that ACA was unconstitutional in
both failing to follow Constitutional process and in violating limits on Govt by discriminating by creed and violating
Constitutional beliefs of citizens.

Before leaving office he expressed interest in criminal justice reform, which I believe he should have
focused on in order to free up resources that could better be invested in reforming health care without unconstitutional laws or mandates.

In the future, anyone else in Obama's situation I would advise
to go build the programs first that you want to prove work in order to demonstrate
leadership skills and ability to implement sustainable solutions BEFORE running for office.

I think Obama and other Democrats who focus on reforming domestic social programs
would be better off running for Vice President and working through the Senate
to organize reforms per State instead of mixing the matters of federal govt with
internal personal decisions better managed by people and States, possibly through parties in order to accommodate diverse beliefs
and creeds that otherwise conflict on a national level.

I would leave the Executive duties of foreign affairs and national security to
Republican leaders with Military experience, and focus the Democrats and liberals
on internal domestic issues that don't belong in federal govt hands, but require
more localized representation and democratic governance to accommodate
cultural and individual diversity.
