There was a letter to the editor a couple days ago in our local newspaper slamming the evil Israelis for destroying all the settlers' houses before handing the settlements over. Little did the poor bleeding heart realize that this was a negotiation sticking point because the Palestinians WANTED it done and the Israelis didn't want to do it!
