I'm sure William will enjoy that, RWA.

I remember working at Godfather's Pizza back in high school, making 3 bucks per hour. It sucked making less than $20 per day, but it kept my hotrod Camaro fueled up.

I hear the 'I won't work for minimum wage' from youngsters. That's when I reply, 'Great! How much did you earn today sitting on your ass?' Gets them to thinking.

I remember babysitting a 40-45 hour week and making 50 bucks. I knew it sucked, but 50 bucks is better than no bucks when your 15. And that was 50 bucks CDN!!!

Welfare checks should only be handed out if you then go through a program to get you back on your feet again.

I agree with setting time limits for normal cases, however, many people will wait until the clock is really ticking to get started on something.

Then we should protest the gov't to do things the right way. Stop giving money out without properly addressing the issues at hand.
Have a comment card attached to the stub that has to be filled out before you get your money. Get people telling the gov't what they need help with.

Liberals want government dependancy. That's the problem. Every person being lazy on welfare is a democratic vote. Responsibility and hard work are "hateful" republican values. Isn't it sad?

Well, ya know, if there were realistic sex education programs in our schools, and curricula geared towards teaching our kids effective reasoning and problem solving skills, the problem would likely be far less severe than it is.

As it stands now, we have the moralistic whining about "abstinence" from the Department of Education, and curricula geared towards memorize-regurgitate-forget for standardized testing. Not much there to get kids to think about the consequences of their actions.

No. We have liberals controlling education who put "not hurting a child's self esteem" above making them work and compete.

People on this message board should get mocked once a minute until they stop being such assholes.

I see you met RWA.

The abuse of welfare that pisses me off is watching a married couple walk into the grocery store wearing better clothes than me, after parking their lexus or benz, and paying for their groceries with food stamps.

Yeah, that might make me violent lol.

Can we turn these people in? I would turn in my own sister, if she was laughing all the way to the bank with her check. If you know someone on welfare, you should help them to find other ways. Watch their kids for them while they go buy a new outfit for a job interview, clean their house or help them decorate it - second hand. And again with the motivational programs...

Yes, people that abuse government assistance can absolutely be turned in.

I agree. We realistic sex education programs. We need to teach them chastity and explain why its the only rational route. You cant hand kids condoms and wonder why they engage in immature behavior. If you promote condoms you are trying to convince them that it doesnt matter if they do it or not because there arent any consequences. this is false and it ruins alot of lives.

Ok. I just got back from a lake near my apt, and it was nothing but a 15 year old sex gathering. There were guys gathered around girls who were peeling each other's tops off, girls rubbing each other all over... it was pornographic.
No parents in site, except for the ones like me, with their little kids running around watching.
I hope the look of me and my husband there (I look 16) was enough to scare them into at least thinking about what it would be like to have those little kids running around THEM.

And it was a lesson to me and the other moms around about what to avoid with all our might when our kids reach that age.

I know what you mean! There is a park near my house, and the same stuff happens there. You know how little kids are around older kids right?
