    Do they? Some do, others like Alaska (mentioned in some of the ten worsts), Arizona, New Mexico, and WV don’t. Plus some states with large percentages are not on the lists at all, like Delaware.

    No worries. The unofficial ones are sometimes more accurate than the official ones. They are certainly more fun in most cases.

    Funny thing, I've lived in more than one of the states that seem to pop up on these sorts of lists, in fact I live in one now, and I've them to be delightful place to live with good people. Perhaps it is where I live, the activities in which I choose to participate, the job I have... but I have not experienced the ills that place these states on these lists...

    exactly, which is why the OP is so silly. It is also very dishonest. I ran a search for the 10 worst states on 3 search engines including duckduckgo and came up with most of the same links.
