The College has apologized and all is ok now. This guy is amazing, he claims he always had the students best interest at heart, that simply is not Borne out by his actions and his INACTIONS.
He suspended the team and then ended their season, but that was all "in support" of the Students. He FIRED the coach, but that was no message at all.He allowed Professors and students to openly call the players rapists and racists, with no "official" reply or statement to cease. He allowed the posting of flyers with the entire teams picture to be posted listing them as such. Again with no official response, no request to cease, no effort to stop it, no requests to remember "innocent till proven guilty".
He did nothing at all until NOW in fact, well except settle out of court with 5 people poorly treated by his college. Ya, he had their best interest at heart.
