I'm not surprised, I've seen people driving and texting and they drive like Idiots. I feel sorry for the parents, they lost a child over something stupid and 100% preventable.

I guess as with a lot of other things in life those texting while driving probably think something bad will only happen to the 'other' guy.

It's definitely a stupid thing to do but there's lots of stupid people out there.
