occupy wall st will have the same effect as tahrir square

i am so embarrassed of my generation....whining and blaming others for their own decisions is just wrong. protesting the fed for devaluing our currency and way of life is one thing...but protesting to get out of personal responsibility is just sad.

I'm flabbergasted that none of these lefty protestors are armed. Didn't they learn anything from the Tea Party?

They are being arrested for wearing masks. Going armed would be a VERY bad idea.

The Anarchists need to stay home and play with their Resident Evil action figures in their mother's basements.

My Bad... I laughed........

can't wait for heads to literally start rolling

Actually..it's gaining alot of steam. The MTA and Postal Unions are backing this..

:clap2:

....heh. They're a bunch of clowns that would rather protest against private business people and job creators than the real problem of the federal reserve's policies and existence itself, along with government corruption. But hey, that's stupidity for you and as you have shown by your very existence, that time and time again, you can't fix stupid.

Business ceases to be "private" when:

A. It is bailed out by tax payer money.
B. It becomes to big to fail.
C. Tax payer money is funneled into the private coffers.

So why are you focusing rage at the recipient instead of the giver?

The problem is, we are all part of the Wall Street hypocrisy.

It is unfortunate that we have this casino at the center of our economy, but we've all put our chips on the table if we have any kind of stocks, holdings, 401K, IRA's or anything like that.

So a few malcontents doing demonstrations is going to accomplish, what, exactly? This is been going on for a couple weeks now, I'm still not sure what they want.

That Tahir Square bunch was clear on what they wanted. Mubarak Gone.

Yeah. Thats why i refer to Wall St as East Las Vegas. It's legalized theft and the wealth gap is where it was during the Great Depression. These douche bags w/ MBA's are selling America down the river for short-term profit.

I agree with 'A' and 'C.' As for claim 'B,' however, a business becomes "too big to fail" only because it has sufficient pull in Washington, meaning it has donated plenty of money to almost every politician in Washington.

The solution to all of the above is to quite giving taxpayer money to business.

The quickest way to undermine their proclaimed cause will be to arm themselves and go violent. Guns at Protests in NYC, Guns anywhere on the streets of NYC is a fast track way to the Morgue, maybe Prison if you are very lucky. Be careful what you advocate, know full well it will cause harm.

The way Bloomberg tells it, NY needs more frontier justice.

Ronnie, Ronnie, just let it go. It's not gonna happen. Go do some Christmas shopping for Rand and then take little vacation somewhere you've never been before - like earth.

Every business or company that gets one of these protests should do exactly what the protesters want. Close. Fire every employee, lock the doors and leave. Go to another state that's more hospitable, go to another country if necessary but LEAVE. Fire everyone and GO.
