Occupy D.C. turns on Democrats - Washington Times

Unlike the tea party folks who are essentially conservative Republicans, the OWS demonstrators don't have any kind of party loyalty. They know that politicians from both parties are in bed with Wall St types because of the corrupting influence of lobbyists weilding cash (and hence, influence) in the form of campaign contributions.

The difference is that some Democrats are sympathetic to the reasons why the protestors are out there in the cold, demonstating, while, far and away, the vast majority of conservative Republicans are dismissive of the protestors in general, while also being openly hostile to the protestors' methods.
