Occupiers Achieved Goals

if the only thing they did was raise awareness of the fact that Congress can inside trade and we go to jail for the same thing, then it was worth it.

The Tea Party brought that up 4 years ago, the leftists defended the practice or ignored it.
There was no Tea Party in February 2008. They didn't come along until that Muslim/Marxist/Socialist/Kenyan-born/unAmerican radical was sworn in. At least they are consistent. They would never organize under a Republican administration, no matter how badly that administration fouled up.

Not true. The Tea Party started in late 2007 in response to Bush's stimulus plan.

The Tea party began in 2006 as a reaction to the McCain - Bush amnesty plan.

You again prove, the lower the IQ, the further to the left.

The furthest back I could find was 2007, but whatever, he's wrong.

Looked to me like Princess Nancy
achieved a goal of hers the way she was talking about them.
A goal that a little device plus some fully charged batteries
usually helps her with.

are you gonna continue to vote for them?

Last democrat I voted for was Jerry Brown in 1974.

Last Republican I voted for for president was Ronald Reagan.

I am considering the "Anyone but Obama" ticket this time, but these are unique circumstances, Obama must go, while we still have some semblance of a constitutional republic.

i was talking about congress people.

i was talking about congress people.

I try to vote for the ones that seem most qualified. Tends to be a mixture of Libertarian and Republican.

You said earlier that "Both parties are full of crooks."

Chances are, you're voting for crooks. That's our biggest issue. It's not the politicians, it's the fact that WE vote the people in that send us deeper in debt (since the 1950s). Until WE fix that problem, we will always have crooks. But I'm not gonna hold my breath. The two parties have conditioned their base to view the other party as evil while not policing their own. It's a good gig (at our expense) if you can get it.

WE should just take that option away from Congress with a Constitutional Amendment.

I am just looking for consistency. If blood is shed on the streets and the OWS is pre-emptively blmed for it, I wanted to know if all those who cause blood to be shed are similarly blamed.

Rioters in LA. Rioters in Detroit c.1969. Chicago police at the 1968 Dem convention, acting under Democratic Mayor Daley. Demonstrators at Kent State throwing stones at National Guardsmen.
Yup, Americans don't like fomenters of violence. OWS fits right in with that.
I wonder what the Los Angeles rioters were doing in Detroit? I wonder if the National Guardsmen who fired live ammunition at college students at Kent State were also held in contempt?

Especially from 1969 to the 1990s. Are you this inept in your job? Well, you are a public employee so the answer must be yes.

You said earlier that "Both parties are full of crooks."

Which is demonstrable fact.

Chances are, you're voting for crooks.

The worst part is that most of those I vote for are not crooks when I vote for them, then they get to Washington and all hell breaks loose.

I'm fiscally conservative, therefor I try to send to Washington those who promote fiscal conservatism. The Tea Party candidates are a great example. When campaigning, they held positions that I endorse. When they got to Washington, they caved to the establishment.

Your history sucks as bad as your politics... :cuckoo:
