RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Hebrew media sources revealed that the Israeli General Security Service (Shabak) had prevented in recent months dozens of students from the West Bank and Al-Khalil in particular, from traveling to Yemen to complete their university studies claiming that their travel represents a real danger.

The Shabak has prevented the students from traveling to Yemen on the pretext of fearing that they might join Al Qaeda organization which reemerged in Yemen and which will help them to target Israeli interests, according to the second Israeli TV channel.

The channel pointed out that the occupation army arrested dozens of Palestinian students under the pretext that they have contacts with al-Qaeda in Yemen. However, after several days of investigation they were released because there was no evidence against them.
