I've got my own wells, yes "wells" as in two, pumping out some of the best water on earth. It costs me the electricity to run the pump. One of the perks of living out in the sticks.

this is a good point to make, as you must drill and maintain your own water supply, which is the cost offset by not being on a water main. so it is a viable solution if it is available to you. although for many people this is not a reality since living in suburbia rally doesnt allow for a water well in your back yard.I've got my own wells, yes "wells" as in two, pumping out some of the best water on earth. where in my post does it say i want government bigger? i would like to see the tax cuts gone, the wars in the iraq/afghanistan gone, and medicare part d paid for with either a tax increase or a cut in spending from the DOD or fuel subsidies for the oil industry.its called the 2001/2003 tax cuts, the wars in iraq and afghanistan, and medicare part d. these are the 3 leading drivers of our current debt and deficit problems.
Yet you want Big Government even bigger. Yeah, you really have drank the Socialist/Progressive Kool-Aid. More Taxes and More Spending will never = Good responsible Governance. It's not their Money, therefore they will just blow it. One day you'll see that. I'm confident in that.
offer a solution to the problem, instead of spouting off right wing talking points.
yeah, because i said all those exact words... idiotwhere in my post does it say i want government bigger? i would like to see the tax cuts gone, the wars in the iraq/afghanistan gone, and medicare part d paid for with either a tax increase or a cut in spending from the DOD or fuel subsidies for the oil industry.Yet you want Big Government even bigger. No, you want Big Government even bigger. You have drank the Socialist/Progressive Kool-Aid. You can spin it any way that makes you feel better though. That's your call. But $16 Trillion in Debt isn't just gonna magically disappear.
The government will have to start passing laws against rain barrels and water collection.
Then the EPA will shut down whatever water is available.

if we were to run a $250B surplus starting next year, assuming no new interest on the debt is accrued, it would take nearly 60 years to pay down the debt to 0.
there is your reality.
and the current debt sits at $15.4 T.
and what you may you ask are the biggest current drivers of the debt:
the 2001/2003 tax cuts, the wars in iraq and afghanistan, and medicare part d. guess we really should cut some spending, and that is a good place to start!
itll be like drinking the water in mexicoThe government will have to start passing laws against rain barrels and water collection.

Don't worry. We'll abolish the EPA and have infinite supplies to drink. Who cares if it's contaminated lake and river water or just good old salty sea water. We'll have water to drink! After all, the earth is covered almost in 2/3rds water... why do we need the stinking EPA to limit our water supplies!? We'll be just like those African nations who have endless supplies of water to drink.

Blah Blah Blah! Big Government Socialists/Progressives/Neocons are never gonna solve our nation's terrible problems. They're completely incapable of doing it. Who do you think got us into this terrible mess? They're the problem, not the solution. But hey, you want to keep sucking that Kool-Aid down, than go for it and enjoy. That's on you.

no wars = less tax dollars going over seas and soldiers coming home = less fuel costs maintain foreign bases.
eliminate medicare part d or pay for it with the end oil subsidies. hmmm government does change in size at all.
eliminate the bush tax cuts from 2001/2003. we close the budget deficit..
hmmmmmm yup all those things expand the size of government exponentially.......
the size of government has expanded more under GOP leadership than under Dem leadership. deficit spending has also ballooned more under GOP leadership than Dem leadership.how exactly this this make government bigger?Blah Blah Blah! Your fellow Big Government Socialists/Progressives/Neocons will not do that. Your biggest problem is that you still believe in Fairy Tales. Only true Constitutional Conservatives can save this Nation now. The ones who caused these awful problems for our Nation, will not be the ones who will solve them. One day you'll understand that. I'm confident in that.
"Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Keep electing the same Big Government crew, and nothing will ever change. It is what it is.

Obamas went up as a result of trying to stop a depression, what was the excuse of Reagan and the Bush's?
Education, foreign policy, infrastructure, is there anything gov't touches that doesn't instantly turn to shit?
Thank god I have drinkable well water. Living in the country has it's benefits. I just feel bad for those stuck in the cities and burbs, most of which elected their local leaders and will get what they have coming, but nonetheless I still feel bad for them.
