With the looming threats in Iran, N. Korea, Pakistan, etc., why does Obama keep us bogged down in two wars of aggression in Iraq and Afghanistan? When will he get his eye back on the ball?

    WHEN?

Troop withdrawals from Iraq are well underway. Troop withdrawals from Afghanistan are slated to begin next summer.

I'd strongly prefer we bring them home rather than jettisoning them off to North Korea, Pakistan or Iran. How about you?

I'm sure the troops feel the same way, especially in light of multiple, long term, deployments.

The Republican Congress will control the pursestrings very shortly. They can defund both operations if they want to.

The blood is back on their hands now, so take it up with them.

Iraq I can agree with, but Afghanistan is obviously very necessary.

North Korea and Iran are indeed serious, but neither has gotten stupid enough to challenge us directly........yet........
