Obama's veto threat of not stopping automatic cuts

Remember during the debt ceiling debates, all the left was saying was how republicans are holding the economy hostage, with their demands for cuts. Isn't Obama doing the exact same thing now?

The president and the democrats wanted a raise to avoid automatic cuts, the GOP said not unless we get cuts.

Now we're faced with potentially having to deal with automatic cuts again, and Obama is saying he won't stop them until he gets a deal.

if the first is Russian roulette, how is the second not?

The Republicans should call his bluff on this one. Let the cuts happen. We need to take any cuts we can get. That's why i'm so glad the "Super Committee" failed. Call his bluff take the cuts and go for more. They fact they're cutting anything at all is a huge victory for the American People. Lets ride this wave and keep the momentum going.
