You know they got nothing when they resort to this sort of crap.

Right-wing American commentators have leapt on an apparently harmless gesture of celebration between Barack Obama and his wife, claiming they were indulging in a "terrorist fist jab".

What commentators would that be? Can you name them all? The list must be huge for you to be laying the mantle of blame on such a board sweep as "Right-wing American commentators".

The right wing media and others leapt on the John Kerry wind surfing, bike riding and other 'sort of crap' incidents. Saying they have nothing because they engage in this is to miss the forest for the trees.

The right fights tough, takes no hostages and rarely underestimates their opponents as they did back in 2006. In return they should not be underestimated.

The framing of the general narrative is what the dance is all about. By brushing things away as nonsense as Obama is doing he is trying to keep the right's message from being taken seriously. Time will tell how well he is doing.

McCain will be facing slurs and worst from old friends in the Senate. It appears current and former Democratic Senators like Kerry and Daschle would support Mister Magoo, if that would help them regain some self respect after being beaten so badly in the last few years.
