Where the FUCK is our supposed Free Press on this? Do you Obama mouth breathers not realize without a truly Free Press in the Main Stream, we are all doomed to being controlled by catchy sound bites?

Obama's Real Unemployment Rate Is 14.7%, And A Recession's On The Way

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported last Friday that 114,000 new jobs were created last month, according to its Establishment Survey of business payrolls that has been emphasized by the Obama Administration. That is pitifully weak, especially for what is supposed to be the fourth year of a recovery (the National Bureau of Economic Research scored the recession as officially over in June, 2009).

Please show how the unemployment rate is calculated differently by the Obama Administration than under previous Administrations.

Oh WOW and right on cue a mouth breather jumps in. Please show how they are the same. See how that works? Stupid response to the FACT that 10's of thousands have been added to welfare under this presidents <scoff> recovery policies.

Millions are still out of work under this presidents <scoff> recovery policies. Now, Mouth Breather, show me how your stupid comment is helpful.

All you have to do is look up the BLS numbers, Maobama is using the U3 numbers that drops people after their unemployment ins. runs out, the U6 numbers used here is not adjusted in that way and has remained very consistent in the mid 14% range.

LOL at you calling someone else a mouth breather. You cons love starting these hysterical threads throwing all kinds of crazy accusations out there and then you want others to prove you wrong. It is difficult to prove made up accusations wrong.

Anyway we have been using U3 as the official unemployment rate for nearly 20 years now.

And when was the U6 number ever used as the official unemployment rate?

Since only 63% of those who qualify as able to participate in the work force are searching for work or working, only 56% of those are working with a 7.8% unemployment rate. Furthermore, only 51% of that 63% of the work force are paying federal taxes. Therefore, roughly 32% of working Americans are paying federal taxes. Realistically, 44% of those who can participate in the workforce, (that number excludes students and retirees), are unemployed. Scary huh? Anyway, as long as workers stay discouraged, keeping the labor force at 63%, the unemployment rate will be kept artificially low. This is how they pull the wool over our eyes.

(Diclaimer, my numbers are about 1 or 2 weeks old.)

I just answered your question about calculations, I don't give a shit who uses what numbers, all I know is there are fewer people working today than when Maobama took office. So his claims of the private sector doing fine are bs.
