Obama's re-election slam dunk as economy improves in 2011...

It's like an endless parade of derogatory, he doesn't know what he's doing posts from Obama haters, but absolutely no recommendation for what he should have done or should do going forward.

Even when asked a direct question from someone who says they'd welcome it, it's silent. I get no response except more empty anger toward Obama.

I can give you about 1000 reasons I despise the way the Executive branch handled their business from 2002-2008 and what I would have done different at the time or in hindsight. I'm just asking for the same. If you just spout off about how bad Obama is without an explanation or a different course of action that you would have taken, your words are hollow.:cuckoo:

He's a lying piece of shit.
He wants to take earned money and give it to people who have not earned it. He wants to keep people on welfare. The more you give to people the less tey will try to provide for themself. obama needs to get out of the way and allow the economy to grow.

But the biggest thing is that he has lied from day one.

How is increasing the tax rate going to improve the economy?

How is spending more and printing money going to improve the economy?

You guys do understand that none of the policies the current administration is pursuing will actually create economic growth, dont you?

OL'BO seemed to be more concerned with passing his HC bs than the economy or jobs.

Raising taxes will not improve anything. It will make things worse for the economy.

Cutting taxes worked for JFK, Reagan and Bush. They got more revenue than raising taxes would have gotten them.

One would think the "geniouses" we elect would look at history. See what worked and copy it.

As for Barry Boy getting re-elected?? If the economy and jobs improve that could happen. If not then I wonder if his party will even nominate him?? The Dems may decide to hitch their horses to someone elses wagon.

That of course remains to be seen.

Anybody mentioning the potential for the Democratic Party to choose another candidate for 2012 is either delusional, stupid, or uninformed.

Please tell me the last time an incumbent President was dropped in favor of a different candidate.

I think I know a lot about politics and history and I honestly have no idea. I don't know if it's ever happened in 200+ years. It certainly won't happen with Obama. Not only is he still fairly popular, but he's the most popular member of his party. In fact, politicians are so unpopular right now across the board, he might be the most popular politician in the United States. I know none of you haters would want to consider that possibility, much less admit it. But...name someone more popular from either party. Bill Clinton doesn't count. Neither do Colin Powell or David Petraeus.

It won't happen with Obama no matter how bad things get because any other Dim candidate would face a backlash from black voters that would doom any hopes of winning.

First paragraph last line.

They advised us to buy banks.

Golmansaks wants us to invest money into places that owe us money so they can have more money that they won't loan, further stalling the economy.

No fucking way I'm I investing in any kind of bank after this bullshit.

If the economy does improve and uneployment goes to a reasonable level [actual unemployment], he can get re-upped.

If it doesn't, not only will he not stay, but only the bluest of the blu regions will have dems in Congress.

Good point!

big 0 numbers do suck, but Congress does have worse numbers. You would have to go with govenors like Jihndal or Cristi

Your right MD. I did a little research and came up with this about the only 4 presidents to not be nominated again by their parties.

Answers.com - Has an incumbent president ever lost the nomination to run for a second term

These folks had taken over for Presidents who died in office.

I think its a shame the Dems won't pick someon other than Obama. Although I do hear Feingold, I think thats his name, Wants to run against him.

Should be interesting.

Here's an article about Feingold. I don't suspect he would. If he does he'd have a 0.00000000000000000000000001 % chance of winning, but he could hurt Obama in the Midwest come time for the general election where many states are close, including Wisconsin. If he couldn't hold on to his Senate seat in Wisconsin, running for Prez seems particularly silly. I think Russ Feingold is pragmatic. I don't think he'll run. I do hope he's back in the game in some capacity soon though.

Bloomberg is also pragmatic. Here's the issue he'd have to deal with, the best chance he'd have of winning is if the Republican nominee was far to the right. If you have Obama in a weakened state in 2012 and a far right GOP candidate, Bloomberg might have a 2-5% chance of actually winning. Problem is he'd probably have close to a 50% chance of being a King or Queen Maker and pushing an extreme rightie into the office. I'm sure he wouldn't want to do that.

Let us hope obama runs in 2012

If trolling is looking for responses, perhaps this thread is a little trolly.

But, I actually believe my post. I think the economy will improve and unemployment drop because Goldman says so.

I think when the economy improves, Obama will be in a position where no Republican will have a chance of beating him in 2012.

Thank you for showing your ignorance, IF the economy actually does come back to life, it will HARDLY be that socialist weakling's doing.
