Obama's ratings slide: press conference down 29%

28.8 million viewers doesn't indicate that his ratings are sliding. His job approval at RCP is still 62%. No drop in that at all, he's been at 60 - 65 there since January.

You are aware George Bush had a higher approval rating at this time then Obama? And according to dipshits like you, he stole the election.

That's a fibbie, baby... stop lying.

All that shows is that in spite of a media out to get him, Bush still had high approval ratings, and that Obama, with a media that won't say anything negative about him, should have huge approval ratings. The fact that his aren't higher, with the media protecting him the way they are, shows a lot in my opinion. I wonder what they would be if the media jumped on him with a negative slant at just about everything he tried to do as they did with Bush? Unfortunately, people believe what Katie tells them in the evenings. :cuckoo:

Of course people are losing interest, how many times can people listen to Bo say it wasn't his fault and someday it will be better if we just throw more money at it?

I've said this before, and I'll say it again; who gives a shit? Good or bad, it doesn't make a bit of difference. Let's talk about this in a couple of years.

Of course your point is on the mark about the effects of media bias for President Obama and against President Bush. But it's a reality we have to face. The left has taken control of schools, universities, media and pop culture.

Unfortunately, we're living in a dream world if we expect that kind of turnaround in the political climate of the times.

On the other hand, the GOP was counted out after the 1964 general election. But, it won the Presidency in 1968. In 1976, President Carter won the Presidency and had both houses of Congress. In 1980, he lost and the GOP took the Senate as well. Neither the far left nor the far right can go reign for too long.

I agree. That's about the only hope that we have.

IMO the first 100 is a media amusement that we are accustomed to going along with. All things remaining equal, the jackass that starts the first 100 will still be in office at the end of 4 years. And they all fall from public grace during that period.
