Obama's Press Conference

Egads the whiners brigade is still active after their loss but still offering nothing but whines. Do you people ever change? You lost, stop the darn crying, you offer nothing to replace what Obama is working on and your last foray into governance was a total ship wreck. Give it up crybabies.
Thank you for the mindless, standard, DU/HuffPuff parroting and regurgitation. However, you're about three months behind on your talking points. You better go refresh, get yourself a fresh drink of kool-aid.
Obama administration is faith-based? This from a party that is run by right wingnut christians.
From what party? I am a follower of NO party. Neither a Dem or a Repug. And on top of that, I'm an atheist.

But, read the quote from the Obamaphile in my signature. He's relying on faith. He even says so. And the whole can of corn IS faith-based. It's a cult, not unlike David Koresh, Jimmy Jones, etc.

And that nerve in you that struck? That's your intellect, screaming to get out.

Quote by Midnight Marauder:
Proof right there, Obamaphiles are cultlike followers, mindless as can be! The Obama admin is a faith-based program!

Coming from pea brains that support Empty Vessel Palin...a fundie that believes Jesus will rule on earth in her lifetime?

A signature and a post are two different things. Look at the entire signature, first it quotes an actual Obamaphile in action, then under that, my comment on it.

Then look at how I already answered your simpleton, moronic statement, which was also made from another regurgitating parrot, in this post:

Thoughts?

When ever I see a liar on television I change the channel...

My thinking is that this guy is a lyin' fool and I've no desire to subject myself to promises which they have no intentions of considering any longer than it takes to express them and particularly so, when they're expressed through tired cliches and empty platitudes; designed to appease fools and children.

Thoughts?

Mine: He certainly tried to address the issues his polling numbers are falling in. He used, "condemn" referring to Iran. Interestingly enough, Khameni came out immediately and said they would 5 more days for contesting the elections. Gee, who would have thought?

He tried to address the health care issue, once again saying, 'Nothing to fear...' He actually was called out by the press about what happens when employers dump, then he started stuttering. Then he got a bit hot.

Stimulus, well walking back from any more. Those numbers are now 90-10 against.

That poll shows how stupid the public is.

You have to stimulate the economy to prevent deflation in an economic collapse.

Now that that has been accomplished, we can go back to rebuilding the system.

I continue to be amused at how easily Obama gets flustered and then angry - he puts off this attitude of, "I don't really have to explain myself to you..."

The press corp was marginally more demanding of Obama today - hopefully more demand will come in the not too distant future.

It is obvious Obama was caving to the Republicans demands of a tougher stance - demands that were also being mirrored in recent polling. That being said, hopefully word will get to the Iranians that the American President is finally voicing support for them and they continue to fight to overthrow that oppressive regime.

And so, we have a president not acting on principle - but rather simple politics.

More of the same...

Well said and I agree.

Obama cannot handle anyone questioning him. He acts like a spoiled child when it takes place. It will be interesting to watch him as time goes on and more questions and doubts come his way.

Your exactly right, he is playing politics, not leading. Were in trouble. As much as I disagreed with Bush on things, I don't think Bush on his worst day can harm this nation in the fashion which Obama can.

This man has gone from community organizer to president in pretty much four or five years. He talked his way into it and used smoke and mirrors. He is not ready for substance. He is in way over his head.

Further, with his strong point being public speaking, you would think he would be at the forefront using that talent to help those in Iran. No, not threats, no harsh words. He has already traveled the world acting like a great philosopher and unifier, yet when faced with a real issue, a life and death issue, he slumped.

More of the same is correct, only it's going down hill from here!

It is all getting better because of Obama.

Taliban on the run in Pakistan, Hezbollah loses the election in Lebanon, Mullahs in trouble in Iran, Obama's diplomatic offensive has destroyed the Muslim extremist mythology.

The markets are being re-regulated as they should, and we have backed away from economic collapse.

But keep living your fantasy.

I just came back from dinner. A very good dinner it was. My sons and one of their friends fixed my air conditioning, without costing me a cent. So I took them to Maggiano's, one of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants.

So good and I have left overs. ;) Also now 2 free meals, so looks like me and super boy gonna have a good day. Best yet, the kiddies at school paid for with gift cards. Put that together with times I've taken the kids for dinner or gone to Petterino's for theater, well there's the free meals.

What a day. So hot! No air until this evening. Even then, well the house had to cool off and dry out. Nevertheless, even with listening to Obama: 8 bags for storage; 3 boxes; 14 bags for Good Will and 12 more boxes of books. The books keep showing up! :(

President Obama answered, to a question about a public plan choice for healthcare, "Why would it drive private insurance out of business?" he asked rhetorically, pointing out that the industry repeatedly argues that private insurance is the best and the government can't run anything. He said the administration's position is a "public plan makes sense."

He's right on one thing here. The government really can't run anything. Over the last 70 years what program haven't they bankrupted. Let's see--Social security/Medicare/Fannie/Freddie. Now they want health care to see how bad they can screw that up.

Obama doesn't like tough questions--that's why he got a little flustered with reporters today. So what will stop employers from dumping their current private providers & just tell their employees to head over to Government plan B?

Well, I see the infantil is back on-line.

Criss--I have been over this you time & time again. You obviously refuse to listen so here it is again. Lebanon is exactly the same. Hezbollah was never in control of the government of Lebanon. The Taliwackers in Pakistan have been running from us for the last 8 years. You called the election in Iran two days prior to the election, & gave Obama credit for it--only to find out when the election was actually held--YOU LOST.

It's time to go to bed now--mommy is telling you to get off of the computer.

What is with this lame ass government bashing? It's ridiculous. Our city services here are pretty good.

The government works pretty well with the exception of the Republican Party.

<SNIP>

On the Fox News Evening Report, Charles Krauthammer made a very funny comment about the press finally asking a few real questions:

He said that they were a little "more aggressive than they have been", then he said "I have to correct myself.....they've partially come out of their stupor"
Then he went on to say that 'stupor' is a psychiatric term, a condition of reduced consciousness where it takes more than usual effort to bring about a reaction.... !!

Gotta love that guy!

BO once again did not help himself (except of course in the eyes of the true believers, such as those here who keep saying things about '8 years' ) with that conference.

FOX's Major Garret definetly got under his thin skin again, and the laugh of having a huffington post blogger ESCORTED to the front to ask a pre selected question highlight's BO disingunity as a person and POTUS.

He isn't supposed to know the questions before hand.

I find it hilarious that Obama makes Fox News and Rush as important as running the nation.

This man is completely too immature to hold the office of president, let alone qualifications.

Listening to him whine about Fox if truly funny and very revealing!
