What I have is my eyes wide open watching the news and seeing it for what it is.

Remember for 3 years everything was bad news in the economy. 500k new jobs in a month and they were deemed "Entry-level low paying jobs", that was when we were at 5.6% [In some states 2.9%] and now we go up to 9.9% unemployment and the only thing they can talk about is how great it is.

Despite deflections from the Obama support team here, and after you peel away some of the more partisan rhetoric and the occasional ad hominem in the OP, there is much truth to what you say.

The media remains mostly in bed with the Obama administration and will downplay the negatives as much as possible while exaggerating any small sign of improvement anywhere.

Both the media and talking heads representing the Administration and/or Congress, and their surrogates among the disciples, will continue to deal in ambiguity and maximum opacity while they savage, marginalize, ridicule, and/or demonize any critics including talk radio, pundits on Fox News, Tea Parties, tax protest groups, 9/12ers, etc. and convince the ignorant that these are neither trustworthy nor of any worth or redeeming quality.

The President will continue to campaign relentlessly hoping that the most gullible of his adoring public will remain under his spell.

Meanwhile, I believe they are hoping to have millions of immigrants legalized and possibly newly minted as citizens with a vote by 2012.

They are counting on the short attention span of the people to get them past the negatives from TARP manipulations, takeover of some major US businesses, the Stimulus package, healthcare overhaul, and some other of the more onerous legislation.

Look for them to focus on us on the internet very soon though. They have to control us before they can fully control most of the message.
