Look at the footnote: "The latest U.S. Census Bureau data for 2014 and 2015 indicates that the number of Mexican immigrants in the U.S. may have increased, suggesting a growing inflow of Mexican immigrants."

And as the statisticians say, "methodology is everything." I see a lot of definitive-looking statements about the numbers of illegals, Mexicans, and whatnot, but nothing about methodology. Most surveys are entirely voluntary and - let's be honest - based on the extremely dubious assumption that illegals are participating in the surveys and responding truthfully. This is absurd. It's like asking a group of high-schoolers to admit they cheated on a test (when there is no penalty for lying).

And yes, it is O'Bama's fault. He has made it known throughout the world that his Administration will do whatever it can, not only to legalize every illegal who is here, but to eventually give them full citizenship. It would be utterly ridiculous to ignore the effect that policy position has on people considering jumping our borders. Had the President made it known that he was determined to remove everyone in the country illegally, and to make them ineligible for any sort of government assistance (including free public education), this would have a "chilling effect" on those who would consider coming here.
