Obama’s One Big Accomplishment

Well the rise of the oceans began to slow and the earth began to heal, so there's that...

I never voted for Obama, but I think he had several accomplishments:

* He resisted far-left pressure to cancel all the Bush tax cuts and instead made most of them permanent.

* He lifted the ban on American oil exports, which quickly led to an oil export boom that is still greatly benefiting states like Texas.

* He got concurrent receipt for retired disabled veterans, ending the long-standing and grossly unfair policy of counting a veteran's disability pension against his regular retirement pension.

* He signed legislation that made it easier to fire incompetent VA bureaucrats.

* He killed Osama Bin Laden.

* He put Elena Kagan on the Supreme Court, who has proven to be open to persuasion on several key issues, such as voting with the conservatives to prohibit the federal government from forcing states to accept Obamacare's Medicaid expansion. His other nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, has proven to be a terrible, mindless liberal robot.

* Obama reduced the rise in the national debt by nearly half compared to George W. Bush. Under Bush, the debt rose by 101%. Under Obama, it rose by 68%. Yes, that's not a great record, but it's a lot better than Bush's.
