Obama's last two years his best?

History will not only look favorably at Obama thumbing his nose at a gridlocked Congress but will find he did the right thing in recognizing Cuba, immigration reform and environmental protections

History will not be kind to this generation of Republicans and their constant tantrums
Anyone who says Obama has done well on immigration reform, doesn't know what he's talking about. US immigration doesn't need reforming. It needs enforcing.

Like herding cats

It hasn't worked. We need to bring these people out of the hidden economy and give them work visas that allow them to come and go. Those that follow the rules, pay taxes and are valuable members of their community can become citizens

Why don't you run for office on that one.

I am sure south L.A. would love you.

Come to Kansas and run on it.

I am sure you'd be successful. :bs1::bs1::bs1:

Most Americans favor a path to citizenship as well as legal status for children. It is only the extreme right that continues the anti-immigrant hatred they have held for centuries

Our laws already accommodate a legal path to citizenship. Why aren't we enforcing current law?

Because we have 11 million people already here

Ignoring them is not a solution, neither is a call to round up and deport 11 million people

By who ?

Gays and Illegals ?

Go for it....run on that platform.

Most Americans favored Obamacare until they really sat and thought about it.

Your comments about the extreme right only demonstrate your desire to find a few internet facts to back up your pre-concieved notions.

You arrogant bastards would make Al Gore proud.

Why isn't it a solution.

Give me the resources and I'll get it done.

Republican crowing about having a "lame duck" Obama are not coming to fruition. President Obama is racking up accomplishment to rival his first two years

The liberation of Barack Obama - The Week

First came a landmark climate change deal with China, which boosted hopes that the global community could reach agreement on a successor to the Kyoto Protocol in 2015. The deal was the direct result of new EPA emissions regulations announced earlier in the summer, which amount to "the strongest action ever taken by the U.S. government to fight climate change," according to New York's Jonathan Chait.
Then came Obama's executive order to allow about five million undocumented immigrants to legally remain in the United States. It was a move that not only fulfilled an important liberal goal and shored up a crucial constituency for the Democratic Party, but also may have boxed in Republican presidential hopefuls on the issue.
Then there was the news that 2014 has been the best year for job creation since 1999, which may lift Obama's approval ratings and create space for the president to actually make some deals with the GOP.
This weekend, the Senate began ramming through Obama's judicial and executive appointments, thanks to an unintended assist from Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah).
And now Russian President Vladimir Putin, previously seen as wreaking havoc in Ukraine because of Obama's supposed inability to lead, is reeling from a currency crisis that can be partly attributed to sanctions that Obama championed.
More could be on the way. According to Steve Coll at The New Yorker, Obama is also considering closing the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba — for real this time.

Just in today...Obama normalizing relations with Cuba

It could be his best two years if he repented of his sins and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It could be America's best two years too - if he was willing. Otherwise he will one day perish in hell and what would it profit a man to gain the whole world only to lose his own soul? Let's pray he repents and becomes a born again Believer. That would be the best possible outcome.
