Will his endless spending ever end
    Of course this benefits Reed

On a dusty, rock-strewn expanse at the edge of the Mojave Desert, a company linked to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wants to build a bullet train that would rocket tourists from the middle of nowhere to the gambling palaces of Las Vegas.

Without looking it up, which is more cost efficient for moving freight? Air or Rail?

Obama must figure his days are NUMBERED, so he has to SPEND OUR MONEY while he can for his loyal cronies...THE HELL with the rest of us..

You people who still support him should BE ASHAMED.

Did you read the article. The part that is in Calf is in the middle of the desert and people have to drive 100 miles to just get to it. If your going to build a rail dont you think you should make it easier for the people in LA to use it:cuckoo:

Between Los Angeles and Las Vegas? Obviously, truck. It's a bit over four hours, five if you take your time. It is actually cheaper and faster to drive than fly. The new "train" is miraculously ineffective and inefficient because it doesn't start anyplace. The departure point is in the middle of nowhere. So people would have to drive to the train station. By that time, you're almost half way to Vegas, Why spend the price of a train ticket?
