If he follows through with his $4k grant for education for some type of community service, it would be helpful if that could apply to student loan debt. Does anyone know where to find more details on his plan?

    Actually, <in a whisper> .. he was looking for a salute .. humor him

In regards to your question, you said the operative words .. "if he follows through." My question is, where is he going to get the money?

He will follow through on his plans for charter schools, because they MAKE money, even though there's no real benefit to education .. which he thinks should be "competitive"

Even senior NCO's do not ordinarily warrant a salute, except under special circumstances.

AR 600-25 (Salutes, Honors, And Visits Of Courtesy) Chapter 1 section 5.

Not that I would expect a CIV-V to know that, just for future reference.

It's a tax credit. So many hours of community service by a student equals a tax credit for those going to college.
