Obama's Blitzkrieg

Jeremiah -

You're totally right. People don't realise that the world is actually run by Donald Trump. But he controls the CIA, Mossad and the UN. Obama works for him, which is why Trump pretends to hate Obama, so that no one can figure it out. But Trump wanted Obama to win the election and bring in one-world government, and Trump will be president of the whole world!!!

Putin will be Trump's deputy, and Angela Merkel with run the global finance system as part of her socialist empire, along with her lesbian lover, Hillary Clinton.

Actually, no, I'm one of the top journalists in my particular field. Good enough that I work globally, anyway. You've very likely read some of my work.

I have met a lot of UN people in my time, and work with politicians from around the world on a daily basis.

Never seen any sign of a spooky one-world government, though!

To Saigon: How does a journalist work “with” politicians?

Flanders -

. . . read things like newspapers, because as all know they are written by the Illuminatti.

To Saigon: Hardly that clever although just as devious. Most of the stuff in print and electronic media is written by journalists who work with politicians.

No place like hiding in plain sight. They live by that golden rule. Stop looking for it. It is right in front of you. - Jeremiah

To Jeremiah: Right on.

Does Saigon remind you of the folks we knew 10 years ago!

I interview them. This often means chatting for a while before and after the more formal questions, and occasionally having lunch or something. It's generally fascinating. I've met a few head of state, and generally get a fair impression of what kind of person I'm dealing with.

My impressions don't make it into what I write very often, but I do feel very priveleged to have met some of the people we chat about everyday.

Certainly it's better than relying on deranged fantasies that no one could possibly believe.

To Saigon: Nice save —— but I’m not buying it. “Work with” is a far cry from the socializing that most journalists admit to. “Work with” smacks of the revolving door between journalists and the government. That door spins so fast journalists have to be careful it doesn’t hit them in the ass when they go through.

Flanders -

Ha! Man, you really have absolutely no idea, do you?

There is no "revolving door" between journalism and politics. I don't know of a single journalist who has gone into parliamentary politics - whereas I can think of more than a few who have come from banking or law.

To Saigon: How many people in this world give a rat’s ass about journalism in Finland? You brought up journalism; so I assumed you were talking about journalism in America since this thread is about the American perspective on everything.

I don’t know what is going on in Finland, but maintaining an unrelenting adversarial relationship with the government is the only reason for a free press. All of the troubles Americans are facing today start with this:

In America the President reigns for four years, and Journalism governs forever and ever. Oscar Wilde

In America there would be no welfare state, no United Nations, no drive towards global government, and so much more were it not for the media “working with” politicians. Put it this way. If press barons did not want a big government welfare state there would be no big government welfare state.

If you want to understand America’s “free press” look no further than this:

From #11 permalink

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years.”

“It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries." -David Rockefeller-

NOTE: That media blackout began in the early fifties and has been in effect for over 60 years. That means 3 generations of Americans are totally oblivious to what the press stands for.

I publish in a half-dozen countries, and have met politicians mainly from the developing world, that being where I usually work.

The relationship between the media and politicians is not "adversarial" and shouldn't be. What it should be is cordial and professional. They are there to do a job, and so am I. Providing both parties respect that, it works well. It doesn't mean we have to hate each other any more than business contacts do.

btw, there is no "push towards global government". It's a fantasy.

To Saigon: They must love you in Communist countries.

Well, there really are only two communist countries left in the world (North Korea & Belarus) and I've only been to Belarus. I found it a fairly chilling experience, to be honest. Fascinating, though.

In general, communism isn't big on an independent press.
