They can hand Dear Leader a second term as well - just nominate Romney - take away any real choice and Obama will be reelected. Nominate Cain or some other conservative and Obama is toast.

Well, there are many factors other than Gallup Polls to consider: It's a little silly to base the predictions for 2012 elections on July 2011 poll results, (the subject of the thread is absurd).

The link I provided allows users to compare Obama's popularity with Carter (well below) and Bush Sr (well above). Both failed to be re-elected.

Actually if you go through them all since Truman , Obama is below all of them except for Carter at this point in their presidencies..... Interesting....
