President Barack Obama acknowledged a series of errors since taking office, admitting that he misjudged the pace of the economic recovery, that he has sometimes strayed from his campaign promise to change the tone of debate in Washington, and that leadership “isn’t just legislation.”

“We were so busy and so focused on getting a bunch of stuff done that we stopped paying attention to the fact that, yeah, leadership isn’t just legislation, that it’s a matter of persuading people and giving them confidence and bringing them together, and setting a tone,” Obama said in an interview conducted Thursday for airing Sunday on CBS’s “60 Minutes.” “We haven’t always been successful at that, and I take personal responsibility for that. And it’s something that I have to examine carefully as I go forward.”

You'll see that unlike Clinton after the '94 mid -terms, Obama simply does not get it.
You'll also see arrogance in Obama's comments regarding "understanding of his policies" by the American people. Obama implies that WE don't get HIM....In other words, we're all just intellectually incapable of relating to his superior intellect.

this is not a surprise. the media loves that line, I read a piece today that had several examples of the same ninnys, ala the NY time Oped telling everyone how we had grown got past our rage and got matter when obama was elected...need I tell you what they have written since Tuesday? We are all racist dummies again.....this is how many on the left assuage their superiority complexes and lack of empathy, everyone is just to darn dumb as we clutch our guns or run to our churches....

he apparently is so totally self absorbed, self awareness or self critique is complete absent form his character make up.
