Obama saved the country from another Great Depression, rebuilt GM, reformed healthcare, reformed Wall Street, doubled the stock market, created 7 straight quarters of GDP growth, created 19 straight months of private sector job growth, repealed the bigotry of DADT, got Bin Laden, got Gaddafi, and got us out of Iraq.

And now with the automatic spending cuts and the expiration of the Bush tax cuts in 2012, Obama has solved the deficit problem as well.

Bush's medicare drug plan is much more socialistic.

ObamaCare is the republican plan..and it involves citizens buying products from private firms. It's definitely not socialism.

And the credit downgrade comes from the inability of the Tea Baggers to manage debt. It's also the first time the S&P, which got the numbers wrong initially, factored in political conditions to grade anything.

Preventing a depression - The jury is still out on this. The economic reality is that we are still in danger of falling into a depression and the signs are indicating that it may become a reality next year. Yes the last recession was stabilized temporarily but we are now sliding back into anther one that may be bottomless. What the country needs now is leadership, leadership that will force Congress to compromise and get this countries economic problems worked out. He is not providing this leadership at this point.

Equalizing the tax code - ?????

Killing Bin Laden - Accomplishment? This would have taken place no matter who was President

Ending torture - I assume you are talking about interrogating terrorists? This has not stopped and continues with our proxies. And we even torture some of our own people here in our prisons.

So in the end only 1 of these is faintly an accomplishment. Getting Bin Laden was certainly something of note but it was a continuation of Bush's objective.

1 Obamacare - Focusing on healthcare at a time when the US economy is still crippled is not an accomplishment. We are suffering the effects of that misguided effort now with high levels of unemployment. If they had spent that time and effort on the economy we might have had jobs and rising employment. Ignoring the iceberg in your path to do something else results in a sinking ship. Do you really think that is an accomplishment.

4. Resolving Iraq and Afghanistan - Neither of these have been resolved. We are just getting out of them and it should have been done long before now. I will give him partial credit here for finally getting us out.
5. Arab Spring Revolutions - Had no effect on them that I can see. Libya was led initially by the French (Remember?)
6 Repealing DADT - Something that was flawed but a big accomplishment?
