Any hope anyone had about Obama being different from or better than bush was squashed with 6 months of taking office. Except for the partisan ones similar to those on the opposite side that though Bush was a great president. About 30% of republicans as I recall the last polls on it.
They then formed a Tea Party.


And only partisan fools would blame Obama for this recession. Granted he has not made the correct moves to improve things once he was in office. He has just continued the Bush economics.

Close to right, Bush had a blank check from 9/11 until Katrina. But Obama largely screwed himself out of most of his agenda other than HCR. The leftist complaint that he has not shown leadership and is too much of an unguided missile/rock star prima donna strikes me as accurate and explanatory.
