ObamaCare's Astroturf Support

You DO realize that most of these lawsuits won't even come into play until 2013, right?

You DO realize that most of Obamacare doesn't come into play until 2014, right?

Sure do....but some of the taxes start sooner, so I am still trying to figure out the lawsuit start dates.....

They have already filed. Texas Attorney General
AUSTIN--Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott and 12 state attorneys general today filed a legal action challenging the constitutionality of the recently enacted federal health care law. The bipartisan legal challenge explains that the new law infringes upon Americans' constitutionally protected individual liberties; encroaches upon the states' constitutionally guaranteed sovereignty; forces states to spend billions of additional dollars on entitlement programs; imposes an unconstitutional tax; and violates the Tenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.

Under the new law, for the first time in the nation's history, the federal government is attempting to force individual Americans to enter into contracts and purchase services from private companies-in this case, insurance companies-or face a penalty. The state attorneys general are challenging this so-called individual mandate requirement, explaining that such an imposition on the American people exceeds Congress' authority and violates Americans' constitutional rights. Additionally, the states are challenging provisions of the new law that will impose dramatic Medicaid spending increases on the states-including more than $24 billion in mandatory spending increases in the State of Texas.

Obama is desperate to show this fuckwad of an idea is popular, he's asking his peeps to:

"Organizing for America volunteers across the country are writing letters to the editor of their local paper to thank their representatives for supporting health reform. Can you join them?"

Seriously?

Organizing for America | BarackObama.com | Thank your representative for voting for real health reform

It's that fucking good the POTUS has to beg people to write letters to the editor?

!

This is about as pathetic as it gets. I can't imagine George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, or any of their predecessors begging their constituents to write letters to the editor praising legislation that is already a done deal. How much of a split personality--deep insecurity coupled with flagrant arrogance--would you have to have to justify something like that?

Obama is the new Jimmy Carter, only worse.

Really? Jimmy Carter never got healthcare reform passed....

True, Carter was stopped before he brought the whole country over the cliff. Just as we will repeal Obamacare and restore our Constitutional rights before we head into the abyss.

That is if Obamacare even survives the dozens of constitutional challenges facing it. Obama doesn't have too many friends in the SCOTUS, especially in light of the childish remarks he made during the SOTU address. His immaturity may cost him......that would be mighty ironic wouldn't it? Obama says "go for it" - yeah, we will. November will be the start.

Your boy Carter was, like Obama, an leftist ideologue that ruined the economy, appeased America hating regimes (even while they held our people hostage!!), and was bounced on his ass after one term. Obama is following his footsteps.....Welcome back Carter!!

The following was printed in 2007:

Here’s where things stood in 1980, Carter’s last year in office, and in subsequent periods:

• Carter: Interest rate, 21%. Inflation, 13.5%. Unemployment, 7%. The so-called “Misery Index,” which Carter used to great effect in his 1976 campaign to win election, 20.5%.

• Reagan’s last year: Interest rate, 9%. Inflation, 4.1%. Unemployment, 5.5%. Misery Index, 9.6%.

• Bush today: Interest rate, 8%. Inflation, 2.6%. Unemployment, 4.5%. Misery Index, 7.1%.

It’s not even close. The only question is: Why did things get so bad under Carter? And that’s a long story. The fundamental reason, however, is he made mistake after mistake, blinded by the leftist rhetoric his party adopted after the infamous ‘72 Democratic Convention, when the so-called New Left seized control.

In office, Carter adopted the Keynesian economics of the time, buying into the theory that there was a reverse “trade-off” between inflation and unemployment — an idea that proved spectacularly wrong. The U.S. became mired in “stagflation,” with both inflation and unemployment rising sharply.

As things grew worse, Carter sharply boosted government spending. When that didn’t work, he blamed the American people. “I think it’s inevitable that there will be a lower standard of living than what everybody had always anticipated,” he told advisers in 1979. “The only trend is downward. But it’s impossible to get people to face up to this.”

and part of the astroturf campaign is demonizing tea parties, claiming they're behind the "violent" backlash nutters are doing. Of course, those in the public eye have always attracted nutters, but this is just so convenient to blame on a movement that has embodied how so many Americans feel.

Yeah....and I am certain that having those Tea Baggers call our members of Congress "*******" and "faggots" and then spitting on them has NOTHING to do with it....

On what planet do you spend most of your time?:cuckoo:

And yet there has been no video proof to back up these allegations.
Health Care BS - BREITBART OFFERS $10K FOR PROOF OF RACIAL SLUR AT OBAMACARE PROTEST
Even if this did happen, it comes from part of the fringe that is on both sides of the spectrum and does not represent the majority though it does make for some good hand wringing hypocrisy from the left.
Using the term "tea bagger" or any other name calling is best left to high school students as it only weakens your credibility.

Those accusations have not been proved, to my knowledge, but does go right along with the Obammy mentality from his bible, Rules for Radicals....Saul Alinsky...Karl Marx which one of the many rules is, "never let a crisis go to waste." Deflect at all costs. You're just following your leader right into the abyss, VA. BUT!! Good news!! We, the party of "know" will save your fine ass, in `10 and then `12. :clap2:
