Obamacare vs Small Business

Didn't the NFIB endorse Obama? We quit shortly before the election because they refused to endorse McCain. We also tried to buy insurance through their group plan and was told they could not do business in NJ. The NFIB let its members down and they finally figured it out.

We do not qualify for the credit because our payroll is too high. Our employees NEGOTIATED higher pay in lieu of HC. So do we cut their pay? Or lay people off? A decent BC BS plan costs 16K.

Your right, this bill does suck...compared to what Obama and Dems originally wanted to do. The original plan would have better addressed keeping costs under control but since no republicans had any interest in helping anything Obama wanted to do, it had no shot of getting off the ground.
This bill however is still better then doing nothing, which is exactly what repubs would have done, nothing at all and continue to let healthcare costs spiral out of control at the mercy of insurance companies.

Ever consider that not every democrat agree on every issue? There are conservative democrats who didnt like everything in the original bill.
